Glimpses of Eternity with Dr. Raymond Moody
Friday February 10, Introductory Talk and Book Signing 7 - 9 PM
Saturday February 11, Workshop 10 AM - 4 PM | Unity Campus Sanctuary

Life After Death expert Dr. Raymond Moody comes to Unity Campus!
There is no greater mystery than death, and there is no one alive today who understands this mystery more than psychiatrist Dr. Raymond Moody who, for over fifty years, has focused on the one particular moment that unites us all - that moment when we die.

Join us as Dr. Moody guides us on a mental adventure that culminates in a significant advance toward proof of life after death. In this insightful lecture, Dr Moody enlightens us as to the truth behind our transition into other realms when we die.

Drawing on his many years of experience working with people who have had near death experiences, Dr Moody gives us a frank account of what ancient philosophers have espoused for centuries about the existence of the soul and what this means for humanity. Dr Moody also reveals new research and findings about consciousness and our understanding of the afterlife, in his new book Glimpses of Eternity.
Friday evening is a FREE talk and book signing; Donations will be received to support the Katie Froeschle Foundation and The Life Center of Tampa Bay. Arrive early and begin this evening with a creative moment to stretch and breathe into our center with the peaceful sounds of live flute music, facilitated by Judith Rose, LMHC and Lori Kleinman, PhD. Reserve your space for Saturday's by calling Wings Bookstore at 727.522.6657. Tickets are $99 in advance, and $119 the day of the event.

Named by the New York Times as the “father of near death experiences,” Raymond Moody, MD, PhD, best-selling author of the seminal work, Life After Life, explores the provocative and intriguing question, “Is it possible to share a loved one’s passing from this world to the next?” Dr, Moody completely changed the way we view death and dying. His most recent research offers a scientific model for how “shared-death experiences” can actually happen. Dr, Moody reveals compelling evidence of people sharing their loved ones’ first moments of their journey from this life to the next, including a wide range of case studies and his personal experiences during his own mother’s passing. He offers comfort and hope, and sheds new light on the mysterious adventure we take at life’s end. Dr. Moody continues to capture enormous public interest and generate controversy with his ground-breaking work on the near-death experience and what happens when we die. An Award-Winning Author. Dr. Moody received the World Humanitarian Award in Denmark in 1988. He was also honored with a bronze medal in the Human Relations category at the New York Film Festival for the movie version of Life After Life. A World-Renowned Scholar and Researcher. Dr. Moody is the leading authority on the 'near-death experience'—a phrase he coined in the late seventies.

Q: What was the book that most influenced your life or your career as a writer?
A: Life After Life by Dr. Raymond Moody. I have a whole chapter on how this book changed my life in my book You've Got to Read This Book!

“The most impactful part was that almost all people reporting these experiences were asked two questions by the spiritual being they met; “How have you expanded your capacity to love?" and "What wisdom have you gained from your experience?"
When I first read this book while in graduate school back in 1971, I decided to devote my life to studying these two areas and teaching others what I learned in regard to how to be more loving and how to gain wisdom from our lives and the lives of others. This is what has led to the Chicken Soup for the Soul books and my books on how to live more successful lives”.
